Position Summary
AI Producer has built and continues to foster strong strategic partnerships with Microsoft and HP. As we enter our next phase of growth, we are seeking a Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to work with identified Microsoft Cloud Solution Providers (CSPs) and HP partners to scale the reach and adoption of our AI-Assisted Production tools.
In this role, you will promote AI Producer to CSPs and HP partners, enabling them to democratize video production for their customers. You will work closely with stakeholders across partner organizations, from C-level executives to individual sales representatives, to build mutually beneficial relationships that align with both AI Producer’s objectives and our partners’ goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership Development: Prioritize and pursue potential partnership opportunities with organizations that align with AI Producer’s goals and values.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective partners across multiple departments.
- Differentiate: AI-Assisted production may be a new space for many of these partners. You will need to work to gain their mindshare and show how it can be a differentiator for them.
- Deal Negotiation: Support negotiations for partnership agreements, contracts, and GTM plans, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other internal stakeholders to develop partnership strategies and execute partnership initiatives.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of partnerships and business development initiatives.
- Event Participation: Represent AI Producer at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the brand and foster new relationships.
Internal Day To Day
- Identify and set meetings with prospective partners
- Train partner sales teams
- Engage and interact with the partners as much as possible
- Support customer engagements when/if needed
- Schedule and support business reviews with partner management (will eventually run these biz reviews)
- Track and report on partner engagement
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in business development, partnership management, or a similar role.
- 5+ years of experience in the Enterprise software industry
- Proven track record of developing and managing successful partnerships.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Desire to be part of an organization that is committed to democratizing production of hybrid events and online meetings.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a very fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work across different time zones as needed.
- Detail-oriented individual who is a good listener and understands the importance of thoughtful contributions.
- Advanced presentation and public speaking abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market trends and business opportunities.
- Ability to travel as needed domestically and internationally for partner meetings and industry events.
