AI PRODUCER PRODUCTION BOT
A virtual participant added to a meeting or production. The AI Producer production bot handles audio, video, and video playback.
AI PRODUCER ATTENDEE BOT
A virtual participant is added to a production when using Teams as a destination. The AI Producer attendee bot handles audio, video, and video playback.
AI PRODUCER SESSION
A collective term for both Meeting and Production formats in AI Producer. Used when a feature or behavior applies to both formats.
PREPARE MODE
It’s the moment when everything powers up, after the setup is complete but just before the production goes live. The bot joins, the productions connect to its destinations. And the pre-bumper sets the stage.
PRODUCTION
A full AI Producer session, applies to both meetings and productions.
PRESENTER MEETING
A structured meeting format where selected Presenters appear on screen while others remain off-camera.
ATTENDEE MEETING
A viewer-facing Teams meeting, Teams webinar, or Town hall where the audience watches content produced from a Presenter Meeting.
BROADCAST DESTINATION
The platform or endpoint where the broadcast is delivered (e.g., YouTube, Teams Town hall or Vimeo).
RTMP (Real-Time Messaging Protocol)
A protocol used to transmit live video from AI Producer to an external platform. RTMP input into Teams meetings or webinars requires a Teams Premium license.
CONTROL PANEL
An interface that lets authorized users manage the production. From here, you can play videos, adjust scenes, start or stop productions,
and more.
CONTROL ROOM
An interface where Producers monitor and coordinate the entire production. From here, you can access live feeds, review layouts, manage roles, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
TEAMS TENANT
Your organization’s Microsoft 365 environment.
CROSS-TENANT BROADCASTING
Broadcasting from one organization to another via a Teams destination. Supported if the receiving tenant has granted admin consent to AI Producer.
TEAMS PREMIUM
A Microsoft licensing tier required for certain features like RTMP-in, watch meeting templates, and expanded viewer capacity in Teams events.
VIDEO PLAYBACK
The act of plating pre-recorded video during an AI Producer Session.
TOWN HALL
A large-scale Teams event format replacing Live Events. Supports up to 100,000 viewers (with Teams Premium) and includes managed presenter views and a 20-second delay.
OVERFLOW FUNCTIONALITY
Allows more participants to join a Teams meeting than the standard 1,000-person limit.
ONEDRIVE RECORDING
After a production ends, the recording is sent to the organizer’s OneDrive. 1080P/HD
