AI Producer Supports long-running sessions without issue, but Microsoft Teams has a hard limit: a Teams meeting can last for up to 30 hours total. This includes everything from the first participant joining the meeting, to time spent in Prepare Mode, and finally the live session itself.  
Example: 
If you join the meeting and wait 1 hour before clicking “Prepare”, then spend another hour in Prepare Mode, you’ll have 28 hours left for the actual production.

Each production and meeting can run for a maximum of 30 hours, giving you plenty of room for extended sessions.

Watch the AI Producer bot feed at the Attendee Meeting. When the LIVE video starts playing, either at the beginning or after a video segment, you’re live and ready to go.

To keep your production running smoothly, make sure AI Producer isn’t the only participant. Microsoft Teams automatically removes bots after 60 minutes. For uninterrupted “live on tape” or “simu-live” sessions, ensure at least one other user stays in the Presenter Meeting. If AI Producer gets removed, you can easily re-add it via the Control Panel. 
Note: This does not apply to Attendee Meetings.

If you duplicate a Town hall, the RTMP URL and key will be refreshed. Make sure to grab the new RTMP URL and key and add it as a destination.

In the Admin portal, you can configure how many days you want a recording to be stored in the storage account (up to 30 days). The recording will be deleted sooner if it is downloaded to OneDrive.

AI Producer recordings are automatically sent to the organizer of the Presenter Meeting. If you’d like to download a copy yourself, you have 30 days before automatic deletion.

Recordings are stored in the meeting organizer’s OneDrive after the organizer confirms via Teams chat. If Teams create a separate recording, delete unnecessary duplicates to avoid confusion.

Yes, if you’re in the same tenant. The organizer receives the email with the destination and Broadcast ID, and their OneDrive receives the saved file.

Viewers can turn on captions directly in Teams by clicking the three dots (More) and selecting “Turn on live captions.” They can then choose their preferred language. This works regardless of whether the production is streamed to a Teams Meeting or Webinar using the AI Producer Viewer Bot.

To get AI-generated captions in a Town hall that also uses RTMP-In, simply enable RTMP-in after the event has started. Teams will provide AI captions automatically. 
 
Here’s why this matter: Teams only supports one captioning method per Town hall. If RTMP-in is enabled before the event starts, Teams expects captions to come from your RTMP feed instead. Enabling RTMP-In after the sessions begins ensures that Teams uses its built-in AI captioning, with no extra setup needed.

Use Shared Display in the Presenter Meeting to show a clean, focused view on in-room monitors. Teams Premium, “Manage what attendees see” lets you highlight a specific speaker, shared content, or a remote presenter you want to be visible. Remote viewers see the full production via the destination, while in-room participants follow a simplified view without distractions.

Open the event in Teams, go to Files, and upload the recording from your OneDrive. If the Upload button isn’t available, paste the OneDrive link in the meeting chat instead.

Go to your OneDrive > Recordings and delete or move the Teams-generated recording. Then check the event’s Files tab to make sure only the AI Producer recording is visible.
