AI PRODUCER PRODUCTION BOT
A virtual participant added to a meeting or production. The AI Producer production bot handles audio, video, and video playback.
AI PRODUCER ATTENDEE BOT
A virtual participant that joins the Attendee Meeting (Teams meeting, Teams Town hall, Teams webinar) to deliver the AI Producer output to the audience. The bot handles video, audio, and any scheduled playback, ensuring viewers receive the production as intended.
AI PRODUCER SESSION
A collective term for both Meeting and Production formats in AI Producer. Used when a feature or behavior applies to both formats.
PREPARE MODE
It’s the moment when everything powers up, after the setup is complete but just before the production goes live. The bot joins, the productions connect to its destinations. And the pre-bumper sets the stage.
EVENT STREAM
An event stream is the output of the Presenter Meeting, delivered to the selected destination.
PRESENTER MEETING
The meeting where presenters, moderators, and producers join to create the production. AI Producer captures video and audio from this meeting and sends it to the selected destination, such as a Teams Webinar, Town hall, or YouTube.
ATTENDEE MEETING
A viewer-facing Teams meeting, Teams webinar, or Town hall where the audience watches content produced from a Presenter Meeting.
DESTINATION
The platform or endpoint where the is delivered (e.g., Teams meeting, Teams Town hall, Teams webinar, YouTube, or Vimeo).
RTMP (Real-Time Messaging Protocol)
A protocol used to transmit live video from AI Producer to an external platform. RTMP input into Teams meetings or webinars requires a Teams Premium license.
CONTROL ROOM
A full-screen interface used by authorized users to monitor and coordinate the entire production. It provides a clear overview of layouts, live feeds, presenter activity, and role management, making it easier to keep everything on track.
CONTROL PANEL
A more compact version of the Control Room, offering the same core features in a simplified view.
TEAMS TENANT
Your organization’s Microsoft 365 environment.
CROSS-TENANT PRODUCTION
from one organization to another via a Teams destination. Supported if the receiving tenant has granted admin consent to AI Producer. If consent hasn’t been granted, RTMP can be used instead.
TEAMS PREMIUM
A Microsoft licensing tier required for certain features like RTMP-in, meeting templates, and expanded viewer capacity in Teams events.
VIDEO PLAYBACK
The act of plating pre-recorded video during an AI Producer Session.
TEAMS TOWN HALL
A large-scale Teams event format replacing Live Events. Supports up to 100,000 viewers (with Teams Premium) and includes managed presenter views.
OVERFLOW FUNCTIONALITY
Allows more participants to join a Teams meeting than the standard 1,000-person limit.
ONEDRIVE RECORDING
After the production ends, the AI Producer recording is delivered in 1080p HD to the organizer´s OneDrive. This is separate from any Teams recording that may have been created during the session.
